Maymont in Richmond, Virginia, is a popular location choice among families and graduating seniors! Last weekend, I had the absolute joy of capturing a senior portrait session during a gorgeous glowing evening! The park, with its picturesque gardens, and timeless architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for this special milestone.
The Perfect Setting
Maymont Park is full of natural beauty, and it truly shines at sunset. As we strolled through the park we stopped by my favorite spots including the herb garden, the fountain, and the Italian gardens. We even stopped by the arbor for some fairytale inspired shots! And my senior was absolutely stunning! She brought two outfits--a princess-like dress and a more casual look of jeans and a balloon-sleeved top. She brought her personality to life, making every shot feel authentic. From playful poses to thoughtful expressions, each click of the camera captured not just her beauty but also her personality. We had so much fun walking around Maymont, coming up with creative shots and poses. We finally had to call it quits when the sun was starting to disappear!
